Bihar- NDA के नेता के रूप में नीतीश कुमार बिहार के नये मुख्यमंत्री बने, फिर बिहार में एनडीए की सरकार बन गयी। बिहार के राज्यपाल राजेंद्र आर्लेकर ने नीतीश कुमार को मुख्यमंत्री पद की शपथ दिलायी और जदयू के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष नीतीश कुमार नौवीं बार बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री पद की शपथ ली। इस प्रकार छठी बार नीतीश कुमार को मुख्यमंत्री पद के लिए भाजपा का समर्थन मिला है. नीतीश कुमार के बाद भाजपा के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष सम्राट चौधरी ने पद एंव गोपनीयता की शपथ ली. शपथ ग्रहण के दौरान जय श्रीराम और नीतीश कुमार जिंदाबाद के नारे लगते रहे.
शपथ ग्रहण समारोह में सम्राट चौधरी के बाद भाजपा के विजय कुमार सिन्हा शपथ के लिए आमंत्रित किये गये। विजय सिन्हा के शपथ लेने के बाद जदयू कोटे से विजय कुमार चौधरी ने मंत्री पद की शपथ ली। विजय चौधरी के बाद नीतीश कुमार की पूर्व की सरकारों में सबसे अनुभवी मंत्री रहे बिजेंद्र यादव ने मंत्री पद की शपथ ली ज्ञांत हो की बिजेंद्र यादव आठ बार सुपौल विधानसभा से विधायक निर्वाचित रहे हैं, उन्होंने अपने राजनीतिक जीवन में कई प्रमुख विभागों को संभाला है.
छठे नंबर पर भाजपा कोटे से गया से विधायक प्रेम कुमार ने मंत्री पद की शपथ ली, प्रेम कुमार नेता प्रतिपक्ष और पूर्व मंत्री रह चुके हैं।
